The tables in this article list the product software versions and the latest Switch Card Control Processor (SCCP), Always-On Management (AOM), and End-User Diagnostics (EUD) versions supported by F5 hardware platforms. The table headings are described as follows:
Note: Unless otherwise noted, platform variations not listed have the same supported software/firmware version range as the parent platform. If the platform is listed, it has a different supported software range than its parent platform.
- Hardware: F5 platform marketing name
- Type: F5 platform ID
- Lifecycle note: Information regarding any support lifecycle milestones that the platform has reached, such as End of New Software Support (EoNSS) or End of Software Development (EoSD), that affect the software versions supported by the platform.
- AOM: The latest version of AOM firmware supported by the platform
- EUD: The latest version of EUD supported by the platform
Note: In BIG-IP 13.0.0 and later, F5 no longer includes the EUD images in the base .iso image file. You must either install the latest EUD package from a BIG-IP-x.y.z.n.n.nnn-RECOVERY.iso image or download the EUD image of your specific platform from the Platform / EUD product page of the F5 Downloads site. 1Hardware product has reached End of New Software Support (EoNSS). Hardware product support is not provided in software major or minor versions released after the hardware product EoNSS date. For information, refer to K4309: F5 hardware product lifecycle support policy. F5 has made an exception to this policy for BIG-IP 13.1.x. This minor release branch supports the B2100 (A109) hardware product until the product’s End of Software Support (EoSS) on October 1, 2018, which includes software releases up until BIG-IP 13.1.1.
